Careful: same model, different country, different answer
eSIM support depends on which market the device was built for, not on the model name. Check this before you buy.
ABD sürümü yalnızca eSIM'dir, SIM yuvası yoktur. Çin anakarasında satılan modellerde eSIM YOKTUR; onlarda iki fiziksel SIM yuvası bulunur. Hong Kong ve Makao sürümleri değişkendir.
How to check eSIM support on your iPhone 15
The surest way is to ask the device itself. Follow this path:
Ayarlar → Genel → Hakkında → EID satırı
If an EID number appears, your device has eSIM hardware. If it does not, the device has none and a software update will not change that.
How to install an eSIM on the iPhone 15
If you bought from Cellesim you do not need to scan a QR code: after checkout one button opens your phone's setup screen and the profile installs itself.
To install it manually, the path is:
Ayarlar → Hücresel → eSIM Ekle
Known situations with the iPhone 15
These come from our own support records, not from a theoretical list.
- Kurulum sırasında "Veri Dolaşımı" kapalıysa hat kayıtlanır ama internet akmaz. Seyahat eSIM'leri her zaman dolaşım sayılır.
- Hızlı Transfer ile eski telefondan aktarım seyahat eSIM'lerinde çalışmaz; profil ilk kurulduğu cihaza kilitlenir.
iPhone 15 and eSIM: frequently asked questions
Can I use a physical SIM and an eSIM at the same time on the iPhone 15?
iPhone 15: 2 eSIM + 1 SIM.
Should I install the eSIM before I fly?
Yes, we recommend it. Install the profile at home over Wi-Fi; the plan only starts when you connect to a network at your destination, so you do not burn days early.
Will my phone number change when I install an eSIM?
No. Cellesim plans are data-only and carry no number of their own. Your existing SIM keeps your number, and WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage keep working on it.
Can I move the eSIM to another phone?
No. An eSIM profile locks to the first device it is installed on and cannot be moved. Install it on the phone you plan to travel with.
