Top 20 fastest countries — mobile download
The Gulf states lead by a wide margin: the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait clear 380 Mbps median, well ahead of the field. Figures are median download in Mbps from Ookla's Speedtest Global Index (October 2025 snapshot).

Methodology & notes
Price data is taken directly from Cable.co.uk's Worldwide Mobile Data Pricing study (price per 1GB). Speed data comes from Ookla's Speedtest Global Index, which Ookla updates monthly; because Ookla's site is rendered client-side, the exact Mbps values here are quoted from dated secondary reports that attribute to Ookla (StatRanker, October 2025; ISPreview, November 2025) rather than scraped from Ookla directly. The top-three mobile ranking is consistent across multiple monthly snapshots; mid-table Mbps will drift month to month — check the live Global Index for the current figure.
